As much as anyone would hate to admit, most of us are guilty of spending too much time on social networking apps and one such app that consumes a lot of our time is Instagram. A quick look at the time spent on apps on your smartphone will give you a reality check on how much time you end up spending on the app.
A quick and easy thing to do is temporarily disable your account so that you don’t use the app at all. If you temporarily disable your account, your profile, photos, comments and likes will be hidden until you reactivate it by logging back in.
Interestingly, there is no way to temporarily disable your account from within the Instagram app so you will require an internet browser to do it. Here are the steps you need to follow to disable your Instagram account temporarily:

Tap or click on your picture in the top right and then on ‘Profile’

Scroll down, then tap or click ‘Temporarily disable my account’ in the bottom right
