How to locate nearest Covid-19 vaccination centre

With Covid numbers touching 40,000 (March 19), it is important to get the vaccine at least for those in the eligibility criteria. India started vaccination against Covid-19 on January 16 this year. In phase-I, only healthcare and frontline workers were eligible to get the vaccine. This month onwards (March 1), the phase-II has begun. In this, senior citizens and persons aged between 45 and 59 years with specified comorbidities are allowed to take the vaccine. Currently there are only two vaccines – Covaxin and Covishield – that have been approved for mass immunisation.

So, if you are wondering where you can get the vaccine for yourself or your parents/loved ones (who meet the criteria), here’s how you can look for the nearest vaccination centre around you.
