How to create a group on Telegram
Open the Telegram app on your smartphone
In order to create a group on Android, users will have to tap on the circular pencil icon in the chat list and then tap on the New Group. On the other hand, iOS users have to tap on Chats>New Groups.
Now select New Group.
Now select all the contacts you want to add to the group
Now pick a name and a photo for the group and then tap on the blue checkmark.
Once you have created a new group then you can add members to it. There are two ways in which you can add members to a Telegram group.
You can either invite your contacts or create a link which takes people to that group.
How to invite contacts to Telegram group
The simplest way to add members to a Telegram group is to invite them from the contact list. To add phone contacts to a group you have to go to Info>Add member.
How to add member in Telegram group via invite link
It is easy to migrate existing groups to Telegram by sending people an invite link. To create an invite link, go to Group Info > Add Member > Invite to Group via Link. Anyone who has Telegram installed will be able to join your group by following this link. If you choose to revoke the link, it will stop working immediately.
