How to register on Cowin
Citizens can register by logging in “www.cowin.gov.in”’
Enter an active mobile number with an SMS facility to receive OTP for verification
Then, enter the OTP received on your given mobile number
After that, click on the Verify button
How to book a vaccine appointment
After registering on the portal, a new Registration of Vaccination page will appear
Here, enter the necessary details Photo ID type, Photo ID Proof number, name, date of birth, gender, etc.
Then click on the Register button
You will receive necessary details regarding vaccination via an SMS
Also, at the Cowin portal, you can add 3 more people linked to the same account, here’s how to do it.
To do this, click More button at the bottom right side of the Account Details page.
Citizens can further add 3 more people linked with this mobile number by clicking on “Add More” button at the bottom right side of the Page
You will need to enter similar details for other people to register them for vaccination.
How to schedule an appointment
Users can schedule Appointment from the Account Details page
Click on the Calendar icon place in front of each registered user or directly click on the Schedule Appointment button
It will then redirect you to Book Appointment for Vaccination page
Here, search the vaccination centre of choice by State, District, Block and Pin code
Click on Center name and it will show available slots (date and capacity)
Then click on the Book button
A new Appointment Confirmation page will appear
Check all the details again and hit the Confirm button
