Vodafone Gprs & Internet Settings working on all plans For PC, Mobile, Data Cards and Dongles or Modem of 3G, 2G,  MMS, GPRS, Live For Nokia, Samsang, Sony, China and all other mobiles Bal info.Vodafone Essar is the best known and leading operator in India as well as on world. They are famous with the tag line “Happy To Help”. But they don’t help the china mobile users because they don’t provide the settings for china mobiles so i will help china mobile user to make manually gprs setting to use gprs in mobile and pc.

here is how to activate 3G in Vodafone in old topic

Settings For Dongle and Data Cards go to Profile in APN type “WWW” then save and Enjoy. For data balance type *111# then 2 > 6 >2 see the data validity.
Vodafone Gprs Settings

Account Name: Vodafone_gprs
Homepage: http://www.wrock.org/
User Name: (no need)
Pass: (no need)
Proxy: Enabled
Proxy Address: 10.10.1.100
Proxy Port: 9401 or 9201
Data Bearer: Packet Data
Packet Data Access Point: portalnmms
Network type: IPV4
Authentication: normal

Automatic GPRS settings:

To receive the GPRS/MMS settings automatically on your mobile handset sms VL to 52586.

SMS VL to 52586 (toll free)

Manual Settings:

If the automatic settings is not working for your mobile handset, then you can configure it manually using the below configuration details.

1) Vodafone live manual settings for Nokia phones

Connection Name: Vodafone live
Homepage URL: http://live.vodafone.in
Security: Non-secure
Data Bearer: GPRS
IP address : 10.10.1.100
Username: Blank
Password: Blank
Access Point Name (APN) : portalnmms

2) Vodafone live manual settings for Samsung phones:

Models : C130, X160, X200, X210, C210, C200, C230, X480

Vodafone GPRS for Samsung:
a) Go to menu > Funbox > WAP Browser
b) Select settings, and choose your profile
Once you´ve selected the profile, complete the following fields:

Profile name: Vodafone live!
Homepage url:http://live.vodafone.in
Security: Non-secure
Bearer: GPRS
IP address: 10.10.1.100
U sername:
Password:< blank>
APN: portalnmms

Now that the settings have been completed, you can access the homepage by:
a) Going to the idle screen and pressing the “OK / i” key, or
b) Go to menu> FunBox > WAP Browser > Home

Vodafone MMS for Samsung:
a) Go to menu > Messages
b) Then go to Multimedia Messages > MMS Profile > choose your profile
Profile name: Vodafone live!

Homepage url:http://live.vodafone.in
Security: Non-secure
Bearer: GPRS
IP address: 10.10.1.100
U sername:
Password:< blank>
APN: portalnmms

Models : X670, X700, D500, D600, D820
a) Go to menu > Browser > Proxy settings
b) Choose your profile
Once you’ve selected the profile, complete the following fields:
Profile name:
Homepage URL:
Bearer: GPRS
Proxy use: Enabled
GPRS setting:
IP address:10.10.1.100
IP Port:9401
APN:
Login ID:
Password:
To set the proxy settings for GPRS, go to:
a) Menu > Browser
b) Then go to current proxy, and select the desired proxy setting
Now that the settings have been completed, you can access the homepage by:
a) Going to the idle screen and pressing the “OK / i” key, or
b) Go to menu> FunBox > WWW services > Home

3) Vodafone live manual settings for SonyEricsson phones

GPRS Setup:
a) Go to Menu > Connectivity > Data Communication > Data Accounts
b) Now choose New Account and select Account Type as GPRS data
c) Enter New Account as Vodafone live
d) Then fill up the fields below:
APN: portalnmms
Username:Blank
Password: Blank
e) Click on Save
Once you’re done, go back to Connectivity and:
a) Select Internet Settings and go to Internet Profiles
b) Select New Profile and enter name: Vodafone live
c) Connect using Vodafone live
d) Save the settings and return to Internet Profiles
e) Now under Vodafone live, select more and go to Settings
f) Now enter the following details:
Connect using: Vodafone live
Internet Mode: http
Use proxy: Yes
IP address: 10.10.1.100
Port No.: 9401
Username: Blank
Password : Blank
g) Once you have entered all the details, click on Save
h) Now go to advance settings from the more options again
i) Select Change Homepage option and enter the following details:
Name: Vodafone live
Address: http://live.vodafone.in
j) Now click on Save.
k) Go back to Internet Profiles and select Vodafone live

To set up MMS
To manually set up MMS on your phone, follow these simple steps:
a) Go to Menu > Connectivity > Data Communication > Data Accounts
b) Now choose New Account and select Account Type as GPRS data
c) Enter New Account as Vodafone live
d) Then fill up the fields below:
APN: portalnmms
Username: Blank
Password : Blank

e)Go to Messaging and select Settings
f) Go to Picture messages and select Internet profiles
g) Select New profile and enter the following details:
Name: Vodafone MMS
Connect Using: Vodafone MMS
IP address: 10.10.1.100
Username:Blank
Password : Blank
h) Now click on Save.
i) Now return back to Picture Messages menu
j) Enter the Message Server Address: http://mms1.live.vodafone.in/mms/
