How to Get Google+ (Google plus) invites

Google has finally launched a Social Network to challenge Facebook. The new project by Google is named as ‘Google+’, which aims to fix relationship with friends and relatives online through real-life sharing. The navigation bar at the top of every Google page will turn Black with new options where you can access your Google+ profile and Notifications.

The Google+ bar is quite similar to Facebook’s Bar. You will have this new Google+ bar on every single Google product so whenever you get a new notification, you can still access it from the bar whether you’re on Google.com or any other Google page.  Like Facebook, you can update your status in Google+. Let’s talk about some more features of Google+.

This is the home page of Google+. It’s like Facebook news feed where you can see what your friends are sharing. Google has added Google +1 button, its like Facebook like button just below every status and alongside that two more options: Comment and Share. There are four basic navigational buttons: Home (stream/update feed), Photos, Profile and Circles (groups).

A Circle is just a group of people created by you. You can create as much groups as you want and name them like ‘Family’ or ‘Office’. The idea is that if you share something with your ‘Family’ circle, no one else outside the Family circle can see the message. So it’s not about sharing with a mass group of friends, but on targeted sharing with your various social groups. You can easily drag-and-drop people into different types of Circles, which you can then use for sharing different types of things.

It’s the most exciting feature of Google+. It enables users to group video chat in a new way. Instead of directly asking a friend to join a group chat, users instead click “start a hangout” and they’re instantly in a video chat room. It comes with a new feature that is ‘Camera switching’ it changes who’s on camera based on who’s talking. Watch this video to know more about ‘Hangouts’.
